4. Create standards for sewage and trade effluents for industrial plant, automobile and health establishment emissions.
5. To certify industries falling in various categories like orange, green and white.
6. It also issues the authorizations to industries and health care facilities falling under bio-medical waste authorization, hazardous waste management authorization, plastic waste management, E-Waste management and battery waste management.
